Dick and Deirdre MacGill moved to Pinedale to work with Red Cliff Bible Camp in July 1975, immediately after Dick graduated from Frontier School of the Bible. Dick met Phil Tubbs and helped search for a camp property the year before. Dick worked under the leadership of Phil from that time until Phil’s home-going in 1986. At the request of the Camp Board, Dick became director of the camp for the following four years. In 1992, Dean Loftus stepped up into the position of Director and Dick returned to what he most enjoyed and where he feels his gift is - maintenance (of both buildings and vehicles), construction, and cooking in Dutch ovens for the Red Cliff Chuck Wagon. Deirdre has assisted in various areas as needed. She has done book-keeping for the Camp since 1986 and led the camper registration team for a number of years. Currently she is also working with the Higher Grounds coffee shop.
