David & Kim Huffman
David & Kim were married in June of 1996 after dating for almost six years and, shortly after, both graduated from a Christian college with a B.A. in Christian Ministry. Both had much experience in teen missions through the local church. In 1998, while David was completing his masters degree, they realized that God was calling them to São Paulo, Brazil as church planters. Also in 1998, their first child, Jessica, was born. After arriving in Brazil, the rest of their five children were born. In May of 2000 they moved to São Paulo and began planting churches and spreading the Good News of salvation.
In 2018, they finished transitioning Liberty Baptist Church in Itupeva to national leadership and returned to the States to plant a church in the Metro Atlanta area, home to Georgia's largest concentration of Brazillians and its third largest university. Since 2019, the new church has grown to include a strong core of involved people and has been meeting at various locations as venues are available.
