Ben & Lauren Childs
Benjamin and Lauren are independent Baptist missionaries with Baptist World Mission. They joined the mission in the spring of 2005 and are currently serving in Papua New Guinea where Benjamin spent several years as a youth. In May 2010 he and his family arrived in the country and are now living in the village of Tirokave, Eastern Highlands Province. The village has a population of about 6000 many of whom believe in animism and witchcraft. Many others have some familiarity with the Bible but have been misled with a works based gospel. The Childs are working to establish a church in the village by reaching out to the villagers with the true gospel message of salvation.
